Finding an event
Calendar - To find an event by date, simply click on the date on the calendar. Each number on the calendar (besides the date) indicates how many events are on a single day. To see an overview of events in a month, click on the month name in the top bar of the calendar.
Search function - The “find an event” box under the calendar allows you to search by activity type, region, member organisation or date.
Member organisation - To find an event which is provided by a specific member organisation, locate the member organisation and click on their name. If they have an event listed with ecoevents, it will appear under their organisation’s description.
Register as a member organisation
Step one - Click on create new account, look to the right - the create new account link is under 'User Login'.
Step two - Enter your account information.
Step three - Locate your organisation on the alphabetical organisation list. When you find your organisation, click “create new account” at the bottom of the page. If your organisation is not listed, enter your organisation details under “organisation”. These details will be available for all users to view via our member organisations list.
Step four - Click “create new account”. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided. Click the link in the email to confirm your account and set up your Ecoevents username and password.
Please note: Membership from Manawa has been automatically transferred across to Ecoevents. If you find your organisation on the list but have never used Ecoevents before, please email us so we can assit you to update your membership profile displayed on the Member Organisations page.
How to upload your event

Step one - Login
Step two - Click on 'Create Content' (link on right page column)
Step three - Enter Title, Region and Activity Type details
Step four - Enter event description in Body field
If you need help formatting your event text please email us for information on adding links, images, fliers etc
Step five - Enter date and time of event
Step six - Enter exact location (including street number and name) to activate Google Maps
Step seven - Submit
Step eight - Preview your event and ensure you are happy with the content and display
Step nine - Edit your event by clicking on event title, then click on red (edit) text
