Congratulations to the communities and teams involved with the Teaching Gardens in Manukau. They won the NZ Recreation Association’s “Outstanding Project” Award to recognise excellence, innovation and effectiveness in the provision of a recreation/leisure project in 2010. A great achievement!

Households in the Auckland region can now dispose of their used engine oil for free thanks to a new Oil Recycling Engine Oil Recovery scheme launched this week by Auckland Council in conjunction with industry partners and the support of Government.

within our local food network.
In order to share stories, experience and visions, the Hui identified that one of the important goals was to hold Harvest Celebrations
