Friends of Oakley Creek -Te Auaunga


Friends of Oakley Creek aims to protect, preserve, restore and enhance the ecological health of Oakley Creek. It holds regular working sessions on the first Sunday of each month, from 10.00-12.00. Monthly meetings are held on the third Monday of each month - 7.30pm at Oakridge House, Unitec Campus (Gate 4), Mt Albert.

Medlands Beach Care Group,Great Barrier Island

Established in the late nineties with the vision "to preserve and enhance the cultural and natural environment of the Medlands Beach area" our first task was to develop with the Auckland City Council, Auckland Regional Council and other groups the "Medlands Beach Landscape Management Plan". This is our blueprint. We meet a couple of times a year to report on progress, discuss projects and plan future working bees with the local school and community.
