Central Auckland Forest &Bird

We are the local F&B branch for the Auckland City area. We focus on conservation in the Auckland City area. We have local trips, bush walks and meetings. We have an active children's section (Kiwi Conservation Club) which has it's own trips and meetings. We run an annual primary school conservation competition, and we financially support some tertiary student ecological research. We are involved with and support local conservation projects and campaigns and provide information about conservation in Auckland. We also have an office in Auckland that has full-time staff, including a field officer for Auckland, which focuses mainly on national conservation matters. More detailed information and dates of trips walks and meetings and other events are on our website and in our newsletter, Te Karere, which we regularly send along with emails to our members.
