Join local residents and the Wellpark Streamers for a morning of tree planting at Wellpark in Westmere. This is the second year of planting on the banks of Edgar Creek in an effort to enrich the existing bush area.
Please wear warm clothing and sturdy shoes (e.g., gumboots or tramping boots). Bring a spade and garden gloves if you can. A raincoat may come in handy too.
Refreshments will be available for everyone.
Meeting point: Wellpark entrance off Wellpark Avenue, next to street number 41. Follow the signs to the planting area.
