Join the Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi and some enthusiastic amateur astronomers for a special evening of wildlife watching and star gazing on Tiritiri Matangi. There may be a chance to spot a kiwi, little blue penguin or even a tuatara, as well as having the night sky interpreted by astronomy enthusiasts and their telescopes. This event was booked out in days of being advertised last year, so don't delay in securing a place.
Saturday 18th September 2010 (places fill fast - don't delay!)
Cost adult $66 no matter where you board, ie from Auckland or Gulf Harbour, plus $5 for the guided tour.
Wear warm clothes, sturdy footwear & essential to bring a torch each (but no spotlights thanks), plus a bite to eat?
Complimentary tea and coffee available on the island (and chocolate available in the wonderful little gift shop!!)
