Help out on this exciting project where we aim reduce litter in the Sandringham area. We’re teaming up with the Auckland Council and Keep NZ Beautiful to discover people’s attitudes to litter and we need your help to carry out a social litter survey. Once this is complete a litter educational pack will be sent to people in the Sandringham area and then we’ll carry out another survey so we can discover what impact we’ve had on how people deal with their rubbish.
The meeting time is 9.30am if you want to meet at our office in Mt Eden. Transport to Sandringham from the Conservation Volunteers Office in Mt Eden will be provided. Otherwise volunteers can meet at the corner of Sandringham Road and Calgary Street at 10am. Volunteers just need to bring their lunch, a raincoat and sturdy footwear.
