Every Tuesday you will see Conservation Volunteers out and about at different parks around Auckland.
It’s part of an initiative between Conservation Volunteers New Zealand and the Auckland City Council to help bring biodiversity back to our central parks and to give people who are interested in conservation a chance to get involved.

Chairman’s Ramblings
Colin Dale past MCC City Manager and his team from ATA (Auckland Transitional Authority) were our guest speakers at the AGM held in April. Colin updated us on how the Super City should support the efforts of conservation groups. He stressed that there should be little change in the administration associated with how volunteer groups are managed or the funding which they receive. Read more....

Project Twin Streams - Ranui Massey Community Planting Day - Celebrate Community
Live music (learn to play the ukelele), free BBQ, face painting, stream fairy, art activity.
Centennial Park Bush Society runs a volunteer work day about once a month. In season we plant lots of native plants and the rest of the year we carry out weed control throughout the park, track maintenance, mulching etc. You would be welcome to join us.


Volunteer to help with pest control programmes, general maintenance and other projects around the Mahurangi Regional Park every Tuesday from 9am - 12pm.
Tasks and projects will change depending on volunteer numbers, skills and weather.
