“First Tuesday” Sustainability Speakers Series

CCS Disability Action Sustainability Speakers Series

Interested in living more sustainably? Then come along to the “First Tuesday” sustainability speakers series and hear from a stunning line-up of experts on environmental sustainability in the urban environment. This series aims to highlight the ways that people in the city can still have a positive impact on the environment.

Where: The talks will be held at CCS Disability Action, 14 Erson Avenue, Royal Oak.
When: The first Tuesday of every month
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Cost: $5 koha at the door

Brendan Hoare—Unleashing Sustainable Potential—2 February
International climate change events, the popularisation of sustainability, organics and energy awareness is all good…we must be on the winning team?
Brendan will explore the idea that we have merely touched base camp on our assent of change. The climb ahead is steep. It will explore strategies to sustain change over time, renew, go deeper and continue with the relentless pursuit of a human capacity to not just sustain, but enhance.
